As you may know, the ESPGHAN Gastroenterology Committee organizes an annual comprehensive pediatric gastroenterology school. This year, we are excited to announce the GI Winter School, which will take place in the beautiful Bohinj, nestled in the heart of the Slovenian Alps, from January 15 to 18, 2025.
We kindly ask you to share this invitation and the attached flyer with your colleagues who may be interested in attending. If possible, please also share it with the members of your National GI Society. While the school traditionally focuses on trainees and young investigators, we also welcome young GI specialists eager to join the network of future GI leaders.
The aim of the school is to promote best practices in pediatric gastroenterology through a combination of lectures, interactive case presentations, hands-on activities, and discussions of interesting cases presented by participants. This collaborative and friendly environment encourages constructive discussions with both peers and professional faculty.
This year, participants will also have the opportunity to gain practical skills at our endoscopy learning zone.
The participation fee is minimal: €100 for ESPGHAN members and €150 for non-members. ESPGHAN will arrange and cover the following costs for registered delegates:
- Accommodation for up to 3 nights (arranged by ESPGHAN)
- Pre-arranged dinners and social program
- Travel refund up to €300.00*
- Catering throughout the course
- Course materials
